Rosalinde Kluck, viola
I was 5 years old when I started having Suzuki violin lessons with Stieneke Poot in The Hague. I moved to the viola when I discovered it at the age of 11. I had lessons with Gisella Bergman at the junior academy of the Royal Conservatorium in The Hague, where I completed my 1st and 2nd stage studies with Ferdinand Erblich and Vladimir Mendelssohn. As a teenager, I played in several youth orchestras, including the Viotta Youth Orchestra, from whose members the EnAccord String Quartet was founded in 1998. The quartet played an important part in my life from the very start. While still a student and since then as well, it has given me the opportunity to have lessons with some wonderful teachers and an unbelievable number of chances to play concerts and take part in competitions.
Orchestral playing has always been part of my life too. For a lengthy period, I have regularly deputised in the Residentie Orchestra (Hague Philharmonic) and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as playing in the Gelders Orchestra, the Radio Chamber Philharmonic, Holland Symfonia and the Asko|Schönberg Ensemble.
Since 2016 I’m a full member of the viola section of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
